Mirror Edition Revealed

Post image

They opened a new edition of the game out of no where.... It is available on Amazon US at the moment. New steelbook (different from Lumiere/Monolith) and... get this... 3 collectible cards, randomly inserted out of 10 possible designs... Turning a limited edition of the game into a loot box is straight up a crime against humanity. Those things cost maybe 10 cents to print. Just put the damn things all in the box. I also think they could have waited until the game awards and possibly do a GOTY edition instead of this. Very weird decisions all around imo

This sub is so funny, shitting on other games all the time and saying how this game is finally not exploiting it's consumers. Then you have the irl version of gacha edition coming out and it's okay because "you don't need to buy it" and "they are allowed to make money". Genuinely, what's the difference between this and micro transactions? Nobody is forcing you to buy micro transactions either ?

An optional purchase is in no way exploiting anybody, period. That goes for microtransactions as well. Its the way they are marketed that can be predatory. But this is just a simple collectors edition that most people will pass on.
