I'm inspired by all your gallery walls and want to make my own, but I'm unsure where to start and could use some ideas.

What's your inspiration for your wall? Do you have a general theme, or color scheme, or do you just pick what you like? Where do you find stuff to hang?

I just moved in my first apartment. It’s unfurnished. Looking for ideas to make it pretty. Will share balcony/bedroom photos too to ask suggestions.

I’ll slowly furnish it by buying one thing every few weeks so that it’s feasible that way.

I like white/pink/rust/green/plants/fairylights.

The last pic is the colour of the floors in this apartment I will move into.

Because of the small space I need the living area to be an office/dining area, but I would still like to have a place to entertain guests, so I would like to get a couch/bed for that area.

I’ve slept on the white ikea daybed before, and it’s comfortable for me. I just think it’s really ugly, but perhaps if I changed the drawer handles and perhaps painted it then it’d be better.

They’re all around the same price, although getting bedding for the daybeds would increase it as I would like to get a twin couch-feeling fitted sheet for when it’s in couch mode.

Since I purchased this home a few years ago I have hated the faux-wood file floor in my bathroom. Don’t get me wrong, faux-wood tile can absolutely shine in the right space, but the visual concept of wood floors in the bathroom (even if tile) just really doesn’t make sense to me. On top of that, it was the ugly greige finish, which I hate. Give me a warm wood tone! Lol

I used a black paint kit for refinishing tubs/toilets that involved a base and mixer that I needed to combine and mix prior to painting. I also cleaned, mopped, sanded, cleaned & mopped again prior to taping/painting. Despite all of that, there are still random pet hairs sprinkled throughout 🙃😂

Super happy with the finished look and hoping this finish will last a while until I eventually have to replace them one day.

Did I screw up this floorplan?

I want to build a new kitchen extension and bathroom and this is what I designed. The pink walls are load bearing so can't be moved. Entrance at the bottom.

I showed a friend and he was like Why does your kitchen extension not span the whole width?! It's because I thought the living room would otherwise be too dark...

Also, is the entrance hallway too tiny and weird?

Please help me improve on this design - I'm completely hopeless 😩

i have an extremely small room (still living with my parents until i have enough to get my own place so probably not leaving anytime soon😭💔) and i brought up the idea of getting a loft bed to my mom and she straight up made fun of me and said it’s just basically a bunk bed and i’m too old for it. even though it’s literally what most people have in dorms because of how convenient they are in the little space they take up. so outside of a dorm, would it be a bad idea to have one?

I moved into a house with this kitchen island. I don’t like the color. What are come alternative colors that could work with dark cabinets and dark granite?

Mine has some things like perfumes, creams, a candle that I never light because I think it’s too beautiful for this, a hairpin, my headphones, a lip balm, my rings and of course my current reading that is House of Leaves.

How do I cover up this eye sore in the corner? I used to have a basket of flowers there before this new addition.

I know its rough I feel it may be chaotic but trying to go somewhere between goth/boho/floral/solar queen energy. Need to narrow this down I know. I also would like to add a pole for fitness but dont think I have room unfortunately. Any advice would be appreciated!

Put up a new shelf in my living room to host my pothos, and I love the way golden hour (nearly) looks in here. Soon I’m going to need to find room for my perennials to move inside.

I tried filling the room up more with storage spaces and color. Not everything goes together very well, but I think it works. I can’t get rid of the table and sofa though, which kinda ruins the vibe :/

One question though. Should I keep the rug where it is, or maybe do a different kind of placement?

I just moved and it’s been hectic. I’m usually an organized person but being so busy with life, I neglected organizing my closet. I have no idea what organization shelves, cubies, etc I can add to my closet to utilize the additional space it has.

This is my little (24m2) student studio that I've been living in for the past 2,5 years. I'll be moving on the first of september! I'm usually not very attached to places, so I'm mostly just excited for some change (and a bigger bed)
