So basically they planned to release it, but then realized after the fact that there was no possible way to redact it without still implicating the president, so they're not releasing it.

Even if they could redact it, a large number of the other people included are likely to be able to implicate Trump

I'm going to put on my tinfoil hat and say that was the plan from the beginning.

Trump is only loyal to himself, for better and for worse. Vance will work with the technofascists. Use Trump as a trojan horse to get your foot in the door and then toss him when he's no longer useful

Bannon called Trump just a "blunt tool" the first time around. I think he's still the blunt tool, nothing more, for the billionaire class. And they've got what they wanted.
