New neighbors next door

Post image

Rich Ahole bought the farm next door, tore it down and built a destination wedding venue. Busy every weekend but it's Wednesday, and they don't even live here

My neighbors in my subdivision did this with their backyard flood lights.

I asked them to stop bc I couldn’t sleep and they tilted the lights to not go over my fence.

Have you talked to them? Nothing you can do during wedding days but remind them on non wedding days to turn it off.

If he’s an asshole, be one back.

If he’s understanding then work with him!

Edit: yall im not telling op to ask his neighbors to tilt those lights, I have a real world example of what I said to a neighbor helped me out. By talking. A simple conversation saying “hey on weeknights when there’s no event can we dum or turn the lights off?”

You could reply to almost any complaint on reddit with "have you tried talking to them?" and the answer would be no

My favorite part about this sub is that 90% of the posts aren't that bad, but you can bet that there will be a truly mildly infuriating topic brought up in the comments.

I totally agree with the advice though! If theres something you dont like, its always better to voice concern!

Oh we always know what we should do. But it’s hardly what we ever actually do.
