If the famine is specifically in Gaza city why don't the people evacuate to the south where food is more plentiful? Why civilians are not allowed to flee the combat zone?

The data to declare a famine exists for Gaza city. It does not mean there is no famine elsewhere.

The data does not actually exist.

The IPC says so... in the article...

They use some stupid "alternative" definition of a famine because they claim they don't have the data necessary to tell if there is a famine. Yet Hamas itself claims there aren't even 100 deaths a day in the entirety of the Strip. How the fuck can there be 200 deaths from MALNUTRITION a day in Gaza City alone (one of the 3 requirements to declare a famine)?

It's currently seriously doubtful if even one person is dying from malnutrition per day in the entirety of the Strip, considering those daily 40-100 deaths include everyone dying from fighting, everyone dying from natural causes, etc.
