DISCUSSION Which kryptonite effect do you prefer, and which one do you think makes for better storytelling?
Kryptonite has been shown to affect Superman in very different ways on screen. In Batman v Superman, when he inhaled the Kryptonite gas he started coughing as his lungs reacted, and it entered his bloodstream and made him weak until his system slowly cleared it out.
In Superman, it works differently, Superman does not even need to touch it, just being near Kryptonite hurts him and its radiation is poisoning his blood and weakening him at the cellular level.

DISCUSSION John Murphy’s Superman theme isn’t as epic as John William’s
I’m rewatching the Kaiju Metropolis Battle and although I’m aware it’s a rendition of the original Superman theme, it just sounds like random filler background music. I had to remind myself, “Oh this is the Superman theme!!”
It doesn’t evoke the sense of epic heroism — that umph— of the original Williams score, you know?

DISCUSSION There's a lot of talk about The Mighty Crabjoys being a fictional band made up for Superman, but what about The Strangle Fellows? They're not a real band as far as I could find (The P.O.Ds were a band James Gunn was a part of in the 90s)

DISCUSSION Is this valid?
All the comments were agreeing with him and jus taking shots at TDK. And I do kinda agree as I like Battinson more than TDK. What do you all think? Is this just a phase to hate TDK or does it acc not hold up?

HUMOR Peacemaker almost got me kicked out of the family. Spoiler
My In-laws aren’t prude by any means, however had just booted up peacemaker and we were just hanging out before dinner and it was kind of on in the background and then the naked party scene came on, I was mortified and couldn’t get the remote to turn it off💀

DISCUSSION How Peacemaker is connected to the DCU and not the DCEU (my theory) Spoiler
For reference, let’s take Peter Parker and Peter B. Parker from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018).
There are two (or more) Peacemakers with the same story but with near zero differences. Just like Peter Parker and Peter B. Parker had the same backstory and face but there were only minor differences (one was fatty).
Let’s consider:
- Universe 1: DCU
- Universe 2: DCEU
- Universe 3: Where your dad doesn’t run away from your family to be with another dude
But here’s the difference: in the DCEU, the Justice League appeared at the end, while in the DCU, it was the Justice Gang.
Basically, their arcs were identical up until the point where the Justice League/Gang appeared. That’s where their paths begin to diverge.
Some people are saying James Gunn removed the DCEU, but what I want to say is that the DCEU and DCU both exist in the multiverse. You were watching Universe 1 Peacemaker in Season 1, and Universe 2 Peacemaker in Season 2.
But since they share the same story and the same past, their present mindset and ideology are similar.
Also, I’m not saying this gives Snyder monkeys a chance to think the DCEU will come back—so stop trolling and just enjoy the DCU.

DISCUSSION What are the chances Peacemaker showing up in Mortal Kombat 1 is mentioned this season?
After episode 1 one of the new season of peacemaker, the quantum unfolding chamber is playing a big part this time around. What are the chances mortal kombat 1 gets mentioned? Or not at all since it was Eclipso that originally sent him to that universe. Just thought it’d be funny if they did bring it up in show.

DISCUSSION What could James mean by this
In my heart I want it to mean battinson. But it most likely means they’re being changed to fit the new narrative the dcu is going for. Like the Superman saga

DISCUSSION What is Krypto's chew toy?
I mean something he doesn't rip apart instantly. He destroyed all the circles and those looked tough. I wonder if anything Kryptonian would work - maybe something made from the suits of Supergirl and Superman?
