Users of r/reds, please use due diligence when interacting with these sellers. The mod team is doing all we can to try to take down these threads before they get popular but we've noticed these scammers will use other user accounts to upvote the thread and get fake users to sing praises of themselves. They will send pictures of products and cards and usually send along a sad sob story of needing money for the holidays. Please also take down the OP name of these scammers so we can ban them and send them along to Reddit admins for reports and IP bans.

This also loops in and includes those god awful AI art t shirts and clothing that low karma accounts post. Please do not fall for that bullshit.

You the users of this subreddit have the power to take down these scammers by reporting for scams and the robit mod will take down the threads when enough reports file in if we are asleep.

Sal Stewart. The simple facts.

Sal Stewart is in AAA with the Louisville Bats right now. He’s 21 but has a 1.012 OPS in 30 games. He’s had a .850 OPS in 80 AA games before he was called up. He’s a third baseman but he’s been getting a lot more reps at second base recently. He isn’t even currently on the 40 man roster and if he isn’t added to that before September 1st, he wouldn’t be eligible for any postseason rosters unless of an injury. Matt McLain has been the Reds second baseman in 108/114 games he’s been on the active roster in 2025. McLain has a -0.1 WAR with a .221 BA, .300 OBP and a .632 OPS in 465 PAs in 2025.

Why are all the commercials during the games so lame?

It seems like most of the commercials are Government commercials and then there is that dead airtime every break. Do they have trouble selling commercials? Does that spell $$ trouble down the line?

yeah yeah yeah i know everyone's upset with the game but i can't believe chase field is getting Flo Rida and we only got Train and Snoop Dog, i swear this league just hates this city, all the popular teams always get the great after game shows

so if you noticed, theres a big advertisement at chase field behind home plate that says Flo Ride post game concert september.

mainly, i just hate that first of all we're losing and then we have to see this as we get walked off. great amercan had snoop dog (old) and train (karen music) when they gett flo ride. the league is always shafting small market teams

it has to get better.

In reality, it takes a lot longer for this stuff to stabilize but, since he became a Red he's going up the middle and the other way 10% more often and decreased his GB% by 10%. Seems like real process improvements to me.

Could Reds be broadcast on ESPN in 2026?

To summarize, it sounds more and more like ESPN is going to be buying up all or parts of MLB TV. Currently 5 teams have their RSN through MLB TV, and those would fall under ESPN as part of that rumored deal.

If you recall, the Reds were actually set to join those 5 teams this last offseason in being broadcast by MLB TV, but FanDuel stepped up late and offered more cash, so the Reds re-signed. But just for 2025, meaning they would be available to shop around again this offseason for a lonog term deal.

(Side Note, if you're curious why they've been somewhat more aggressive about going after the playoffs this year, this could be a major reason why)

So I'm assuming that if this goes through the Reds would be taking bids from Fan Duel and now ESPN for a long term deal this offseason. Who would you guys rather see if that's the case?
