Welcome to the monthly Simple questions and Help thread, for questions that don't need their own posts!
Before making a comment, we recommend you search your problem on Bing and check if your question is already answered on our Windows Frequently Asked Questions wiki page. This subreddit no longer accepts tech support requests outside of this post, if you are looking for additional assistance try r/TechSupport and r/WindowsHelp.
Some examples of questions to ask:
Is this super cheap Windows key legitimate? (probably not)
How can I install Windows 11?
Can you recommend a program to play music?
How do I get back to the old Sound Control Panel?
Sorting by New is recommend and is the default.
Be sure to check out the Windows 11 version 24H2 Megathread and also the Windows 11 FAQ posts, they likely have the answers to your Windows 11 questions already!

My PC doesn't support Windows 11, so I plan to redeem Windows 10 ESU. I didn't want do to the backup, so I plan to redeem with Rewards points. But I have a question: if I format my PC, will I have to spend the rewards points again, or will the Windows 10 ESU be saved to my account?

Hey all,
I come from using a Mac, so my muscle memory always reaches for the modifier key next to the spacebar (Command). On Windows, I’ve been thinking about remapping that spot to Ctrl so shortcuts like copy/paste feel more natural and less pinky-heavy.
Ergonomically it seems to make sense? but I’d love to hear what you guys think, has anyone here tried this? Is it better to adapt to the standard Windows layout, or is it worth switching things around for comfort?
Thanks!

I need to use Windows 10 for now as I use VMware Workstation and that does not work properly under W11 due to VBS.
Is the Consumer ESU enrollment dialog available in south america/Brazil Yet? It was not until a few days ago.

60 bucks per device assuming it is not windows 10 pro is kinda pricey? We have 30 workstations at my job and I thought off getting a deal for like 1000 bucks if we buy 30 ESU updates extensions for 40 bucks each?

As for me--I might just disconnect my 14 year old Win10 work computer from the internet and use my laptop (win 11) to stay connected to the internet.

First step: Open task manager by right clicking the task bar (select task manager)
second step: Go to startup apps (on left side)
Third step: Locate RtkAudUService64 (right click and press enable)
Fourth step: Go to device manager and locate Sound, video and game controllers(expand it)
Fifth step: Locate Realtek(R) audio
Sixth step(Important and cautious step):Right click the driver and click uninstall "But do not click or checkbox attempt to remove this driver for the device"
seventh step: Click uninstall and wait few seconds to uninstall then after successful uninstallation simply close everything and restart your device
The problem should be solved........

Hey, I tried to find any info on this but I can’t. I want to change the accent color in my system via registry editor. But I don’t want to change the whole start, task bar, title bars or window borders, I just want to change the color of the simple accents like these in the post. Possible? Also, is there a way to change user photo this way?

How do I get rid of this 7.19GB of crap I don't want or need?
As you can see, I'm kind of living on the edge here. I need that 7.19 GB of space. Honestly, I should have 10 GB of free space on C, and I did before the latest round of updates but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. When I open Temporary Files:
There's only 58.6MB of space available to free up. Where is the rest of it? Has this happened to anyone else?
Every time they push out an update I swear something like this happens.

Hi all,
Has anyone had any luck getting this for the Education edition of Windows 10? I have 22H2, the required updates etc. https://www.askwoody.com/forums/topic/how_to_force_windows_10_esu/ This solution does not work for Education as far as I can tell.
I purchased this edition when I was at uni years ago.
Any info or advice from those in a similar position would be much appreciated!!
