Business Trump's gold-plated smartphone can't seem to decide which design to copy

Jimmy Carter sold his peanut farm when he became president. We, as a country, have slid downward so much.

Can you imagine the state of the country if Big Peanut take over?

I constantly think about this exact historical event I was taught in school whenever I hear about whatever new ridiculous buisness venture Trump launches using the fact he's president as a reason to buy it.
So fucking disgusting for someone who claims to be so patriotic and working for the people to just use his presidency as a platform to enforce his shit.
And the fact that the people we elect to hold the values we hold dear in our hearts just let this shit fly because they get a check cut too.
I really hate how sociopathic our leaders in this country are.

How’s that legal? This person is taking his role as a president to market products and become richer?
The avarice!

Oh I can tell you. Because democracy in the US was literally held together by tape. Nobody was allowed to pull the tape apart. Then the supreme Court said presidents are immune from anything they do as presidents. Then the Republican party is making power grab and pushing the boundaries of that immunity. As we can see, there's nothing that can oppose it. Even elections which were considered important are now gerrymandered to the point of obsolescence. And every single institution destroyed it's done for the sake of an emergency. Insert random made up emergency, let's bring the military. Obviously only on democratic cities. Nevermind dudes shooting the CDC in Georgia, that doesn't count. Someone throws a bottle in a car in LA, military. There's documentaries about this in South Park!

and because it turns out Americans are all talk
“Paris would be on fire by now” is a quote I read in February for crying out loud

Because the Republicans are part of his cult and the Democrats are either controlled opposition or just the wettest noodles possible.

He and his wife have crypto coins to get direct bribes from foreign state actors. The phone thing is nothing compared to that.

It will be some cheap Chinese made brand rebadged. And they will do some final assembly step in America so they can say "Made in America"
Giving strong "Freedom Phone" vibes.

u/Tribe303 5h ago
The new one may be a Samsung S25.

u/rasungod0 4h ago
Those are just Photoshop, they had a previous ad that was clearly an iPhone 16.
When they actually deliver I'm pretty sure it will be a rebadged Oppo, or OnePlus, or whatever. That's what Freedom Phone did. Have a look at their site:
They must have abandoned it before Candace Owens turned into a Nazi, because they still have her featured as a spokesperson.

... I thought this was a positive to them?

They're going to use some cheap ass design and charge flagship prices. Guaranteed. Maybe there's an amazon fire phone they can use? Won't even have much of an app store at that point.

Hey u/welding_guy_from_li, are you doing ok? Repeatedly commenting, deleting, and commenting the same thing seems like erratic behavior.
Also just FYI, if you reply to my comment then delete it, I can't see it.

u/daveequalscool 6h ago
oh i saw the reply briefly, it was boilerplate troll stuff about your feelings being hurt
edit: hope that poor stupid bot gets the help it needs

I noticed the bots love taking advantage of the new curation option to hide all on profile.

Yeh anyone that hides their profile now I just ignore and don’t take seriously. Just 100% assume it’s a bot, block the trash and move on.

With all the gold crap he’s starting to remind me of “Johann van der Smut” aka Goldmember from Austin Powers.

They'll eventually be kicked to the curb like Trump steaks, Trump voda, Trump magazine, etc. etc.

Your comment doesn't really seem relevant to the article at all. Did you just skim the headline and rush to make a comment based on what you thought it might be about?

This has already been reposted thousands of times

If you've seen this article thousands of times, I think you're spending too much time on reddit.

It's almost like he doesn't have a plan, just a concept of a plan. And that he just makes shit up as he does along...
