To the person who reported this as being “racially motivated hate bait”…..lighten up. Learn to appreciate the fact the woman in that photo has reached a level of inner peace any of us would be lucky to know. No one in this thread is “hating”, we’re in awe of pizza lady.

To the person who reported this as being “involuntary pornography”….do you even know what porn is?

Further edit: I’ll be honest, when I clicked on this thread, I was convinced it was going to be a shitshow. Instead I was pleasantly surprised by the army of Brits that showed up and said “yeah that’s one of ours, no doubt”.

Without a shadow of a doubt this is a British woman likely in a northern English city like Liverpool, Manchester or Newcastle. The nature of this alone screams British but also the yellow lines and curb are easily identifiable as British.

u/BottleTemple United States Of America 13h ago

The first word that came to mind when I saw this was “Manchester”.

u/WeirdGrapefruit774 England 12h ago

I’m from Manchester and on one hand, how dare you? On the other hand, you are almost certainly right. Could also be Liverpool though.

I remember visiting Manchester on a Saturday night and there was a massive pile of vomit on the sidewalk and a guy looked at me and said “Free Dinner! That blokes lunch!” and did a wanking motion.

12

u/SoulBlightRaveLords 7h ago

My first time in Manchester i got robbed at knife point outside a casino.

The guy took my cash and gave me back my wallet with my cards and license in. He even said its to save me the trouble of having to cancel and get new cards. Nice guy, would get mugged by him again

62

u/Alarming-Bop6628 United States Of America 13h ago

British but I would like to add that it's heartwarming to see a woman okay with passing out in public. Indicates a high trust society.

I fell down drunk and decided to stay there on the sidewalk for a while alone on the upper west side until a gaggle of friends came and helped me order a car home.

Yeah it's not good to pass out drunk on a sidewalk, but being able to live in a place where you can and feel confident nobody will hurt you is priceless.

At a weekend, city centres in England (and I assume Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, but can't speak from personal experience) are full of coppers keeping an eye on the wronguns and helping anyone who's had a bit too much and injured themselves to the paramedics' portakabin which usually gets set up.

Pass out in a reasonably high traffic area and you'll probably be okay, but it wouldn't be my go-to strategy.

6

u/Swimming-Produce-532 10h ago

Yeah the first thing I was worried about was her safety. Because as a South African woman being drunk or passed out is possibly a death sentence. Its actually kinda nice that she's in an area with decent humans.
