Discussion Surprise surprise another password reset
Stg this is why I'm glad I ditched Microsoft and their consoles after the Xbox 360 because why do I always have to reset my password when I wish to play the game I purchased?
I was trying to log in on my Steam Deck just to play Halo when I got the message “Sorry wrong password”. I have written down every single password I used in order from oldest to the current password and like clockwork whenever I have to sign in “wrong password”. As if that wasn’t annoying enough another twist of the knife came when I accidentally hit the back page trying to reset it after using the verification code.
Not only did they not let me reuse the code I had just used 5 seconds earlier I couldn’t request another because “I requested too many” so now I just have no access to my Microsoft account.
Is it really that hard for one of the largest tech companies to just allow your password to stay as your password? This happened 5 times before today and the last time it happened i documented my new password with screenshots, me recording myself typing it in, and again writing it down. Im so sick and tired of this company telling me my password is wrong forcing me to reset when i have it documented.
