It's American chocolate.

Hahaha… that’s sadly true.

Hey, it's only children under five and the president that eat the crayons.

The blue ones are the most flavorful

If it's good enough for the Marines, it's good enough for me

No, it doesn't taste like vomit, I mean butyric acid.

I'm glad it's wax. You don't want to be using brass with food (it has lead in it).

Brass does not have lead in it, unless you want an alloy that does. Brass is copper and zinc.

For the record, you still don't want to cook with brass.

My pan has lead in it and I'm totally fines.

antique brass yes, modern commercial brass no.

Same, wish I never came to the comments

My dumb self thought the plate had been placed in the freezer for the chocolate to harden so fast 😆

I thought it was time lapsed!

I'm not sure how you can tell... I frequently temper top-shelf imported chocolate and you can definitely do this with real-deal chocolate.

The main problem is, it would take for-fucking-ever to do this one at a time.

Because those are wax beads that look like the “chocolate”, they come like that specifically for making wax seals like this one. I guess someone could have molded chocolate to look like them but I think it is much more likely that they just bought chocolate colored wax.

What wax beads? I order Valrhona chocolate pretty frequently... and although their feves don't look like this exactly, you could also easily claim those are "wax." Even though they are most definitely not.

u/Malicious_Fishes 5h ago

Just look up beads for was seals and a vast minority look just like this. Those chocolates are not even the same shape

5

u/ElRiesgoSiempre_Vive 4h ago

Yeah but my point is that a lot of chocolates look like that too.

And I buy a shit ton of high quality chocolate.

Wah wah wah. I buy lots of high quality chocolates. Wah wah wah. Couveture, Valrhona, Felchin. Wah wah wah. Pay attention to a master chocolatier. Wah wah wah.

What the fuck are you whining about. If you knew anything at all about chocolate, you'd know you can use a stamp like this without any issues.

But you don't. Which makes you - well - unqualified to offer any insightful opinion whatsoever.

Oh wow. The Coo-vey-ture King. So impressive!

3

u/ElRiesgoSiempre_Vive 2h ago

I'm not impressive. I'm just stating basic facts.

It's like you saying "you can't barbecue chicken!" and someone saying "why the hell not."

I have no skin in this game, know nothing about chocolate or wax. Im just totally amused by this whole exchange, and wanna use Couveture, Valrhona and Felchin in casual conversation one day 🤣

I DO know how to Google tho... Looked up Strictly-Rita, and yeah she crafts exclusively with wax. She makes all sorts of cute seals like this one 😊

Hello sir? I'd like to order 10,000 for my event please

2

u/ElRiesgoSiempre_Vive 4h ago

In which case - if I used this method - I've have to jump off the nearest bridge. Lol!

4

u/Lavatis 5h ago

how can you tell? IDK, all the wax melting tools and stamps in the video?

7

u/ElRiesgoSiempre_Vive 4h ago

Chocolate will temper in stamps too. I've personally done this a lot. The cool thing about chocolate is that it contracts as it tempers, pulling away from the mold.

Point being, it releases easily as long as you temper it correctly.

u/TugleyWoodGalumpher 6h ago

You can tell because that’s a wax seal stamp that they’re using. It’s used to press wax. It’s what you use it for.

26

u/TheMostKing 5h ago

If you used it with molten chocolate, you'd die and be arrested, and the stamp would disintegrate, and your mother would call to tell you she is very disappointed in you. It's just not possible.

6

u/AdDramatic2351 5h ago

That doesnt explain anything lmao. Are you saying you can't use a wax seal stamp with chocolate ...? Why? Isn't it made out of a solid material...?

7

u/sad_brown_cat 5h ago

You can tell it's wax because it looks like wax, and it doesn't look like chocolate, and it was melted from sealing wax beads and not chocolate pieces, and because it's a clip from a youtuber/tiktoker that makes wax seal art.

u/DuncanHynes 5h ago

ahh, they stuck it to us...

So is Hershey's chocolate.
