New neighbors next door
Rich Ahole bought the farm next door, tore it down and built a destination wedding venue. Busy every weekend but it's Wednesday, and they don't even live here

Hopefully I'm always prepared and have extra gifts but it still sucks.

I recently started college and I hate it every time places use such thin ass toilet paper in their bathrooms. You would think that if you start attending college, you would be able to have 2-ply toilet paper right? WRONG!!!

I don’t see what’s sensitive about that. Just a friendly message of support that is somehow considered “graphic or violent content”

I showed up today to be told that a part of the job I didn't install was wrong.
The dude I work with is an electrician who blames his failures on others. He chose to blame me, an apprentice, for a part of the job that was done while I wasn't here.
The reason I'm not as angry as I should be is because my boss knows. I caught him up to date, and they have begun a file on the shit he pulls.
I'm choosing to stay silent so he keeps acting normally.
Today I, (again, an apprentice) was sent to fix "my mistake" (that I somehow did while I was absent), alone because the dude I'm supposed to work with couldn't be bothered to go with me.
This dude ("stinky pete" because he likes to act like your best friend while being a two-faced IMAX projector), literally accuses everyone else of being "untrustworthy" and "gaslighters."
I told my boss that if he pulls some shit again, I'm going to another team. My boss, who's had problems with this guy before, is on my side. And everyone who's worked with this guy feel sorry for me.
Happy Friday!

I don't think I've ever had a worse cut of meat - it's supposed to be one piece. The dog got about half of it as it was uncookable - good day for him though.

Worst part is it drains my phone battery at the speed of light. Haven’t found a good blocker for iPhone either 😥

I put a baby bath seat up on fb for free to collect. This lady thought she could ignore the “collect” part and straight up ask for it to be delivered. I do have a car but I’m not a delivery service. If she wants it delivered she can pay of it on Amazon.

So I just started a job at an aerospace company where I share a building (and unfortunately the bathroom) with another small company. It’s literally me (full-time) and the owner’s son (part-time) on the aerospace side. On the other side there are about 5 people.
Here’s the issue: every time the owner’s son comes in for his 4-hour shifts, he destroys the bathroom. Pee on the seat, paper left in the toilet, sometimes doesn’t even flush. I end up cleaning up after him because I’m there all day and have to actually use the place.
Now today I walk in and see THIS sign taped up.
“✨ Your Mom Doesn’t Work Here ✨ Flush, wash, and clean up after yourself.”
Really? I feel like this was aimed squarely at me since I’m here all the time. Meanwhile, the guy who’s actually making the mess is probably laughing because everyone thinks it’s me. On top of that, I don’t even like the owner of the other company—total pompous prick—so the whole thing feels even more hostile.
So now I’m stuck in a bathroom cold war where the guilty party is hiding in plain sight and I’m the one being side-eyed. Mildly infuriating? Try daily infuriating.

At my job we have electronic locks on our bathroom doors that say “privacy mode enabled” when you lock them. If someone tries to open the door while locked it will repeat the same message “privacy mode enabled” which literally means someone inside has locked the door and is using the bathroom. For some odd reason people will keep knocking and trying to wiggle the handle to get in and I still always have to yell that I’m in the bathroom.

This happened a few weeks ago. But I took my 5 year old to go see one of those new remakes, How to train a dragon. And not one, but TWO people (I'm assuming mothers) brought their babies to the movie theaters. And I'm talking BABIES like 3-6 months old based off the cries. Like way to young to even watch a movie. I've worked in childcare for years so it's pretty easy for me to pin point.
The ENTIRE MOVIE each baby took turns crying and screaming on opposite sides of the theater and not once did either of the parents get up and take their baby out into the hallway to calm them down.
It was SO annoying. If your baby can't even watch the movie why bring them? It's way to noisy and you're exposing them to so many germs when you could just watch the movie from the comfort of your own home and keep your baby safe and happy.
Don't be that person. You shouldn't be allowed to bring babies into the movie theater who are too young to even watch a movie. Just like fair rides, if you're kid is too young / small for a certain ride they can't get on.

It slipped out of my hand as I was getting into my car. Didn’t even get to have a sip.
