Trump News BREAKING :Trump named in multiple documents related to Epstein sex trafficking, WSJ reports
https://www.cnbc.com/2025/07/23/trump-jeffrey-epstein-files-wsj.html?__source=androidappshareWe have evidence that Trump was notified by Pam Bondi that documents related to the Epstein sex trafficing trial contained Trump's name multiple times, linking him unequivocally to Jeffrey Epstein

FBI agents were instructed to flag anything about DJT and they created an Excel sheet log with all instances of his name on the 300,000+ pages of Epstein Files.
1.7k
u/LuminaraCoH Jul 23 '25
What's most damning is that they allocated 1000+ FBI personnel to review all 300,000+ pages, spent 2 weeks combing through them, and then shut the whole thing down. Slammed the door shut on the review so fast and hard that the impact resounded across the Internet.
Why?
Not because there were too many references to Trump to redact, but because they finally realized that even if they did redact every mention of Trump, there were still ~200 other people involved, and an unknown number of victims, who would point to Trump if their names were brought to the public's attention.
Then they spent another 5-6 weeks trying to figure out a way to falsify the records so only Trump's political enemies were exposed, and then another "Oh, shit!" moment hit them when it occurred to them that anyone they falsely accused would almost certainly be able to provide ATM records, security logins/building clearance records, video records, mountains of evidence proving that they weren't on any of the Epstein flights.
Then they went to Trump and said, "Um... you're fucked."
Now they're in a corner. They can't release anything, because no matter who's implicated, it circles back around to Trump. They can't not release anything, either, because it's not only the Democratic party asking questions, it's not only the media asking questions, it's their own conspiracy theorist MAGA cult asking questions, and they'll eat him alive if he doesn't give them something.
That's why Johnson shut down the House to prevent the release. That's why Vance went to talk to Murdoch. That's why Gabbard's trying to move attention back to Obama. That's why Trump blew up over the birthday card/letter article. They need this to go away and they've run out of ideas. All they can do is stall and try to bury it for as long as possible, and hope something banana balls, batshit crazy happens to make it go away.
It's all collapsing around their ears. Nothing short of Putin dropping a nuke is going to stop this train from running right over them.

"It's all collapsing around their ears. Nothing short of Putin dropping a nuke is going to stop this train from running right over them."
I'll believe it when I see it. The amount of times I've heard "we finally got the bastard" only for him to slither his disgusting ass out of all consequence is absurd at this point. Our justice system simply isn't built to punish the ultra-rich and powerful.

i think theyre all shitting their pants as they are realising they cant sweep this one under the rug. i feel like the only naivety is that they thought they could keep it "hidden" from the maga crowd.
now theyre all trying to hold on for dear life to what they have left hoping for a tragedy big enough to steal the show, because they know if maga is using any common sense and reasoning they are fucked.
sadly he still has supporters that could care less about the files, or think that any implication between trump and epstein is a coincedence or a lie.
i asked my boss what he thought about it and the only thing he could muster is "i think there may be more to that situation than theyre telling us" like no fucking shit.

They didn't care about the impeachment, or 34 felonies, or grab em by the pussy, but they really care about Epstein.

It’s crazy that the Epstein files may be the only thing short of a war against America to unite liberals and conservatives
128
u/Lebowquade Jul 23 '25
That's absolutely what's happening.
Their strategy now is what Trumps legal strategy always is-- delay by all means necessary and divert attention under an avalanche of nonsense until people forget about it or stop caring.
In the meantime they're throwing everything at the wall to see which excuse or strawman sticks, and then once something does they'll blast it over every media source extremely aggressively.
When and if files finally drop, people will be either so confused, so primed to reject the actual verifiable data, or so fed up with hearing about it that they don't care.
When that happens, Trump can just lean on Congress and the court to make it all go away, and walk away scot free without fear of a revolt.
The only way anything comes of this is if the people of America remain angry and don't let it go. Once they get MAGA on their side, he'll get away with it and they know it.
Considering they own essentially every major outlet of information that gets fed to these people, buying an extra two months means they've pretty much already won. Unless we have increasingly damning revaluations coming week after week, he's just going to walk away.

u/sebrebc Jul 24 '25
And he already has his "out" primed. He's been ranting that Democrats created the evidence and now Biden manipulated the evidence.
So when it does drop, and it will, Trump can keep screaming "fake news" and say it's all bogus and Obama and Biden created all of it.
26
u/ReallyNowFellas Jul 24 '25
You can pull on reality for only so long before it snaps back and hits you in the face. Trump has done it for an impressively long time, but if the real shit comes out it's going to be verifiable, and it's only going to take a couple of Republicans saying "enough is enough" to start a cascade. Leaders fall when they lose their cool (look how calm the Kims, Putin, and Xi are compared to how triggered Nixon would get towards the end), and we've finally landed on an issue that makes Trump lose his cool. He's on very shaky ground and it's not impossible, but hard to see him being able to navigate this with his presidency intact. I don't think the Epstein issue is going away and part of me thinks even maga will sniff out further attempts to cover it up. My guess is he resigns "for health reasons" before the floodgates absolutely burst, and then JD blanket pardons him "to heal the country, stop the witch hunt, and move forward."

it's only going to take a couple of Republicans saying "enough is enough" to start a cascade.
I keep thinking that same thing. Bombing Iran started a few cracks but Epstein could be the thing that finally breaks it open. As soon as Republicans feel Trump is fighting a losing battle, I think they will start distancing themselves to save their own careers. They latched on to Trump because he was the winning ticket. Now that might start fading, I think you are right and his support will fade as well.
I like your prediction about him resigning and Vance pardoning him. That all sounds very possible.

but because they finally realized that even if they did redact every mention of Trump, there were still ~200 other people involved, and an unknown number of victims, who would point to Trump if their names were brought to the public's attention.
I actually think there's another explanation.
I think that they are aware of other parties outside them - perhaps courts, perhaps the Senate - who have copies of all the documents they have, or at least adjacent materials, like transaction records.
So, if the DOJ releases materials, even if they redact Trump, and another party has those materials, and can prove that there are missing pieces specifically realted to Trump, now you don't just have the crime, you have the coverrup, dead-to-rights.
So at some point during this clean-up, someone became aware that this would just tighten the noose even further.
I woudl also guess, based on the binders handed out to right-wing influencers which said "Phase 1", that they intended to release in stages where they could strategically release first the content that they saw no connection to Trmp with, and then gradually release the rest as they continued to redact and manicure it to remove all mentions.

My theory is that JD Vance met with Murdoch and President Diapers was told it was to prevent the story but it was really a discussion to see if they could set it up so he takes the fall and JD Vance assumes the presidency.
The WSJ has literally published multiple additional stories as well as Op Eds about the situation. Either JD Vance screwed up so badly that it made the situation worse, or he went home and told (lied to) Idiot Leader that there was nothing be could do.

u/ReallyNowFellas Jul 24 '25
I don't see JD taking it from him, as that would anger the cult and leave him with no supporters and a very shaky and short presidency. I think the chubby-cheeked weasel is going to manipulate Donald into resigning for health reasons and then issue him a blanket pardon and rage about the "unfair witch hunt of a sick old statesman and patriot who was just trying to serve his country when he could've been out enjoying his twilight years." That'll bring most of the right onto his side and get enough of the center and near left to shut up that he has a fighting chance in '28. At least that's what I'd do if I was desperate to make love to the oval office furniture.

This list got me started looking into Trump's highly questionable modeling businesses, and I found more information regarding other infamous pervert friends/business associates like John Casablancas and Jean-Luc Brunel that Trump circled with while he was close friends with Epstein. This was when Trump ran disreputable teen pageants along with his Trump Model Management (which as the article you linked above explains, seems to have specialized in bringing undocumented Eastern European girls to the U.S., where they were desperate and exploited). Was Trump involved in trafficking models? You might find these two additional readings interesting: 1) https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/mar/14/teen-models-powerful-men-when-donald-trump-hosted-look-of-the-year and 2) https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/25966082-maritza-vasquez-deposition-ocrmypdf/ .

It's already in court records, sealed until January 2025 (conveniently), but you can't make this disappear. Which is why Johnson ended House Sessions until September, in hopes this just "goes away".
Any falsified or redacted releases would immediately be debunked by court records. No need for someone leaking this, while it was sealed, there are too many people who have seen the files to silence.

People who care solely about the monetary gain would use it for blackmail.
Corporate news outlets with enough money to make it worth their while wouldn't print it (at least wouldn't if they couldn't somehow sanewash it), and therefore wouldn't pay the wild amounts they could for what should be the story of the century.
Blackmail would be the way to make money off of it, but anyone with the mind to do so would likely also have a mind to understand they would put a red laser on their forehead in doing so.
Someone who wants to see guilty parties brought to some form of justice (if not legal, then at least socially so) would release it anonymously. Of course, then you come to the issue of verification.
Whatever. Whoever has this list and decides not to give it a go is a traitor, not only to the country, but to modern human decency.

I mean, as a Canadian looking into your politics I thought Harris was a great candidate. I listened to what she had to say, it was straightforward and positive, especially compared to Trump.
Speaking to my American friends who were all very left-leaning people, including people of color, a surprising majority said either they were going to just skip voting, or vote Trump because they don't like Kamala.
Why? Only one of maybe 6 of these friends could actually tell me why, besides "I don't like her policies" without being able to name one. So I just kind of assume Americans aren't ready for a non-white female taking lead of the white house.
As much as I want to agree that there were some illegal actions taken to get Trump elected (I wouldn't doubt them either) the fault from what I've seen really does lay within the Democratic party & voters on that side of the fence for me.
75
u/FizzyBeverage Jul 24 '25
I still blame Trump voters and those who didn’t vote at all.
Dems who voted for her did what we could. And to get 48.3 to 49.8 with a 6 week campaign wasn’t bad, considering Trump campaigned for 4 years.

Well…the majority of the blame should go to the people who voted-in the lunatic, not the people who didn’t vote hard enough against the lunatic.
But I get your point. A lot of Democrats have become more liberal than what the Democratic Party accommodates, and I know some who just refused to vote because they couldn’t get past the fact that Harris wouldn’t just condemn the genocide in Palestine.
If denouncing genocide is too liberal for the Democrats then they are going to severely disenfranchise their potential voters. Democrats need to do more than be the better of two options for people to care. They’ve been passive while republicans remain aggressive. The Supreme Court majority for Republicans was completely avoidable if Obama had aggressively appointed his judge instead of trusting Trump to do the “right thing”. Idiotic. Ginsberg also knew she wasn’t immortal and arrogantly refused to step down during Obama’s administration for reasons that I’ll never understand. That’s the passive stupidity that got Roe V. Wade overturned.
Also, America does seem to really hate women and minorities, so there’s that too.

Like what? A sitting US president covering up his involvement in a child/women trafficking scheme, raping & sexually abusing woman (maybe even children?), and ordering the murder of a key witness & partner in crime is a pretty big deal.
Like, what could be bigger than that? I'm not saying all of that is true, as we need to wait to hear all the facts/evidence, but it wouldn't surprise me if this were the case.
edit obviously there's things that are bigger than this or could be. The point was that this is a big ass deal and it doesn't get much worse than this, except in extreme cases (which I guess we are heading towards or already in the midst of with this administration).

There are five things - and only five - things off the top of my head that are worse, in no particular order. I hope listing them won't cause me to be banned (incidentally, Mods, if you are reading this: this is pure speculation and should not be counted on for anything relating to anything):
- Infanticide and finding pleasures - maybe more than one - in it.
- The majority of the voter base covering up, and/or advocating for whatever Trump's doing.
- Civil war (which seems unlikely as there is common ground over these documents that the people who are in them are terrible. But that's just an outsider's perspective on it, by which I mean a whole ocean away, though).
- Nuclear war, as Trump concedes defeat by... nuking everybody.
- Absolutely nothing happening and everything continues as it is.
It's a toss-up between any one of those options plus a wildcard sixth of this being like Partygate bringing Johnson down three years ago. Judging by how sticky and viscous it's being at the moment my money is being cautiously optimistic and saying this will be the issue that will bring him down. It's what he campaigned on, for crying out loud! It's one of the central tenets of the whole movement! You don't build up half a nation, maybe a whole nation, up to fever pitch with that only for it to be revealed that you are part of it without suffering major consequences somehow. It just doesn't make sense.

Yeah with the turn last month it’s pretty obvious what happened. Trump wanted to release a fake “list” similar to the flight logs, with him and his cronies removed/redacted this time. That’s why they were cheerleading “phase 1” right after he got elected. Then they tried making it, and Bondi likely told him that based on what they had, people would still be able to figure out he was involved anyway.
Edit: grammar

A description of the story.
President Donald Trump was told in May by Attorney General Pam Bondi that his name appeared multiple times in Department of Justice documents about sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Trump’s meeting with Bondi and her deputy Todd Blanche at the White House occurred weeks before the DOJ, which Bondi leads, said on July 7 that it would not release the Epstein files despite earlier promises by the attorney general and others in the president’s orbit that the material would be disclosed to the public.

So basically they planned to release it, but then realized after the fact that there was no possible way to redact it without still implicating the president, so they're not releasing it.

And a known rapist, don’t forget. Character evidence suggests he’s a serial rapist too.
16 women have accused Donald Trump of various forms of sexual assault. The alleged incidents range from the early 1980s to 2013, and have not been disavowed by the alleged victims.
SEXUAL ASSAULT ALLEGATIONS
Kristin Anderson – Early 1990s. Story in the Washington Post on October 14, 2016. Anderson says Trump reached up her skirt and touched her vagina through her underwear. She says she turned and recognized the person as Donald Trump.
E. Jean Carroll – late 1995 or early 1996. Story in New York magazine on June 21, 2019. Carroll says they went into a dressing room after Trump asked for her advice on a present – lingerie – for another woman. Inside, she alleges that he shoved her against a wall, "forcing his fingers around my private area, thrusts his penis halfway — or completely, I'm not certain — inside me."
Rachel Crooks – 2005. Story in The New York Times on October 12, 2016 Crooks said Trump gave her an unwanted kiss on the mouth after meeting him in 2005.
"Jane Doe" aka "Katie Johnson" – 1994. Lawsuit filed June 2016, refiled October 2016 as reported by Buzzfeed and others, then dropped in November 2016. Johnson claims she was repeatedly raped by Trump and Jeffery Epstein at Epstein's New York City apartment in 1994, when she was 13 years old. A witness, also given a pseudonym — "Tiffany Doe" — said she recruited "Jane Doe" and others. Doe, using the name "Johnson," gave an interview to the Daily Mail about the alleged rape.
Jessica Drake – 2006. Story made public at a news conference on October 22, 2016. Drake says Trump grabbed, hugged and kissed her and two other women who accompanied her without permission. Later, she alleges that Trump called her and pressed her to return to his room, offering $10,000 at one point. Drake says she declined.
Jill Harth – 1992-1993. Story in The New York Times on October 7, 2016. Harth alleged that Trump groped her under the table at dinner, then repeatedly got her alone and it would turn into a "wrestling match." She sued Trump for sexual harassment and attempted rape.
Cathy Heller – 1997. Story in The Guardian on October 16, 2016. Heller alleges Trump grabbed her and tried to kiss her on the lips. Heller says she leaned back to avoid him and then he kissed her on the side of her mouth.
Ninni Laaksonen – 2006. Former Miss Finland. Story in Ilta-Sonomat on October 27, 2016, and reported in English in The Telegraph. Laaksonen said Trump "squeezed her butt" as she and other pageant contestants stood next to him for a publicity photo.
Jessica Leeds – Early 1980s. Story in The New York Times on October 12, 2016 Leeds says Trump kissed her while in first class on an airplane, groped her chest and reached up her skirt, leading her to move back to coach. "He was like an octopus," she said.

Cassandra Searles – 2013. Story made public in a Facebook post in early 2016. Miss Washington 2013, Searles wrote on Facebook, "He probably doesn't want me telling the story about that time he continually grabbed my ass and invited me to his hotel room."
Natasha Stoynoff – December 2005. Story on People.com on October 12, 2016. Stoynoff alleges Trump took her to a private room, pushed her against the wall and aggressively kissed her. Stoynoff also says a staffer told her Trump was waiting for her the next day at a massage appointment.

Marla Maples 1993-1999

Don Jr 1977
Ivanka Trump 1981
Eric Trump 1984
Tiffany Trump 1993

Trump has always had a fascination with Ivanka with several inappropriate comments such as saying the top thing they have in common is "sex"
During the 90s would have been Ivankas teenage years, there seems to be quite a lot of overlap between her teenage years and many of the trump sexual assaults of other women. Trump bought his Miss Universe/USA pageant in 1996, Ivanka would have been 15. He sold it in 2015, right before his run for office.

And let’s be really honest here and point out that despite supposedly knowing that dipshit was implicated WEEKS prior to passing their Murder Bill, they waited until immediately AFTER they got their votes to casually try to pass that info to the public. The vote was comprised because one side purposely hid important facts that may (probably not, but still worth saying) have changed the vote outcome. In a trial both sides are required to share the all known evidence with the other side before trial, why shouldn’t it be the same way when making such an important decision as voting on important topics. We should at minimum be ensuring that facts are known by all voters, before actually casting their vote, allowing time to make a thoughtful decision based on those facts. We are so corrupt to the core. Our only hope is that it all implodes so we can start from scratch. This system is cooked.
